When an employee leaves your business, one of the first things you should do is secure and forward their email properly.
In this video, I show you how to forward email in Google Admin using domain wide routing rules inside Google Workspace. This method allows you to:
• Forward emails from a former employee to a new account
• Create alias style “ghost” addresses
• Capture emails sent to non recognised addresses
• Use pattern matching and regular expressions
• Create unlimited email triggers without paying for extra licences
This is the correct way to handle forwarding at admin level, especially for businesses that want to avoid losing important emails after staff changes.
